He was one who was very strict with his personal items.

Many things around the house, new or barely used, they would give them away to Aunty Lin or the butler and the others. That way they wouldn’t have to spend money to purchase them themselves.

And they could always throw them away if they didn’t want them.

As Huo Sishen thought about it some more, he felt that that was a great idea. “Aunty Lin’s niece would probably like it.”

Gu Shishi had difficulty breathing and turned to give him a look.

She took the towel from him and rubbed his wet hair violently.

Not wanting the boss to feel sad, Gu Shishi went out to chat on the patio.

After finding out that Huo Wencheng had called the Huo family, Gu Shishi felt bad for Gu Wushuang for a minute.

A rational brain would never give all they have for a relationship.

Upon hearing that, Gu Shishi decided to have Siyi and Sier to monitor Gu Wushuang closer going forward.

Enveloped in the grassy scent from the man next to her, Gu Shishi frowned and pondered.

She had never received any sort of hints from the system about the danger lurking. Her speculation had always been that it had to do with Huo Sishen’s long-term psychological issue.

Now that he was healthy both physically and psychologically, what was left to worry about was the pushback from those whose profits were harmed when they were backed into a corner!

Gu Shishi made up her mind secretly. On their way back home, she texted Huo ChuChu and had her keep an eye out on Huo Wencheng and Mother Hou and had Huo ChuChu notify her if she spotted anything out of the ordinary.

[Huo ChuChu: Yes, ma’am!]

Her spy had accepted the mission graciously.

As Gu Wushuang walked up with a smile on her, she noticed something was off when she was half way up.

The ringer was too overly feminine. The outside of the phone was plain with nothing on it.

As she had gotten closer, she could see a man’s style, full-screen cellphone sitting on the desk.

She only hesitated for half a second when she looked up and saw Huo Sishen’s handsome side profile and that he didn’t even bother to look at her.

Looking over to where he was looking at, she saw out of the corner behind the screen to one side of the office – half a face that was moist, smooth, and bright and the limpid eyes that were looking at her with a smile.

She could tell who it was instantly even from just a small portion of it!
